We recommend wearing football/soccer boots to help with grip, especially if the ground is wet. However, we will be training on artificial grass. Therefore, joggers/runners are more than fine to train in.
In terms of clothing, any sporting clothing is suitable (e.g. shorts and shirt during the warmer weather and a jacket during cooler weather).
Please bring a spray jacket to all sessions in case of rain.
Water definitely and anything needed for medical purposes (e.g. asthma puffer), along with advice of any medical condition.
Our classes have an age range between 6 and 12, and they will often train together, depending upon the size of the groups. However, the focus of our sessions is on individual skills so each participant will train individually within the training session.
So while everyone trains together at the same time, every participant exercises to the best of their ability at their own pace, intensity and ability. It is the reason our training sessions are so effective.
So whether your child is 6 or 12, they will gain maximum benefit from our sessions.
Not at all. In fact, this class is perfect and the ideal environment to help your child improve and gain self-confidence.
The focus of our sessions is on building each participants individual skills, speed, footwork and agility. Not racing each other or seeing who is the fastest or the best.
This means if your child is often the slowest in their class, team or sport; or, if your child is showing an ability to potentially make it to an elite level, Fast Feet is exactly what they need to unlock their true athletic potential.
In relation to inclement weather, please arrive at the venue each day. The Program Director will make the final decision to train. We do exercise through rain. However, if the session needs to be cancelled due to the weather, or any other reason, we will aim to let you know in advance whenever possible.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of the training session.
Absolutely. Parents are more than welcome to stay and watch the sessions. However, we do ask that you remain off the field at all times to ensure we provide a safe environment for the children.
Definitely. If your child participates in a sport that requires fast footwork, speed and agility, then Fast Feet is the perfect additional training alongside your child’s regular sports training.
